If our work this year had a theme, it might be: stunning multicultural celebrations. We saw a beautiful baju kurung, a sofreh, and a reception that included halo-halo, a mariachi band, and Polynesian dance troop. We wrapped the year up with a chic celebration at the Moongate Lounge in Chinatown and a City Hall ceremony under the Christmas tree. We love seeing couples bring in their unique personalities, interests, and traditions to their wedding day!
Intimate Chinatown Celebration
Autumn and Jason met in San Francisco and knew they wanted a city wedding, but when they started planning, they quickly realized they preferred something a little more intimate and non-traditional than the standard wedding venue could offer them. They decided they’d have a small City Hall ceremony followed by a party at Moon Gate Lounge, a swanky new cocktail bar in the former Four Seas.
Autumn has fond memories of visits to Chinatown with her grandparents, so bringing friends and family together under the colorful lanterns of Grant Avenue seemed like a fun choice for their wedding reception. The couple jumped in with decor and fashion embracing the bold palette and lunar-inspired interior.
After photo-worthy cocktails including ingredients like pink peppercorn and oolong, guests headed to the banquet room for a multiple course family-style dinner of pork buns, mussels, eggplant, and Pig Trotter Ham Sui Gok, heartfelt and entertaining toasts, and an even more entertaining dance floor!

Elegant Autumn Wedding at Annadel Winery
Beneath the shade of the tall oak trees of Annadel Winery, Cameron and Gina said ‘I do’ in the cool autumn air of Northern California. They met through mutual friends and spent countless evenings watching their favorite bands play at the Fillmore. The rock posters lining the walls inspired them to commission a bespoke guestbook in the likeness of a rock poster including nods to their relationship and California.
C+G knew they wanted to introduce Cameron’s North Carolinian family to the Northern California that they loved. Gina grew up in the East Bay and Cameron had moved out to NorCal specifically for the natural scenery he experienced when visiting his father and step sisters there. The comforting familiarity of the oaks scattered across the venue reminded Gina of home and created the intimate vibe the couple strove for.
The night unfolded with an effortless elegance as the group sat down for a family style meal. In love with hosting dinner parties at home, the couple successfully recreated the close and welcoming feelings that come with gathering together to share food with those you love.

Overlooking the Rolling Tomales Hillside
Eleanor and Jake shared a beautiful weekend with intimate group of friends and family overlooking the rolling hills at the Haven at Tomales. They loved the quiet, away-from-the-crowd feel of the venue and wanted to share this remote Northern California experience with their guests. They kept the day personal and intimate by welcoming each guest with a personalized note and by asking just their brothers to stand with them. For these two, the day was about sentimentality, connection, and time spent celebrating with those who know them well.
