With Sirish's roots in India's Kerala and Amanda’s childhood around the vineyards of Lodi, Oak Farm was the perfect venue was their unique and personal celebration. Having already exchanged vows in India, this was a chance to celebrate with their friends and family in Amanda's hometown.
The wedding was a mix of Indian flair and California charm. Marigold petals lined the aisle, and vibrant florals covered the ceremony arch and the dinner tables. Amanda wore earrings Sirish found her in India in the days after their Indian ceremony. The food and drinks menu featured samosas, paneer, mango lassi, chai, and Indian sweets and, of course, elephant-shaped cookies served as wedding favors, a playful nod to Sirish's love for the majestic creatures central to Indian culture.
The day wasn't just about the couple; it was a coming together of families and friends from different corners of the world. The wedding stood out as a fun, unscripted blend of traditions, a reflection of Amanda and Sirish's journey to create a life that's as unique and vibrant as the cultures they hail from.
